During the 2019 World Cup, Phoenix Marketcity and Palladium Chennai celebrated the cricketing frenzy across the country by creating the World's Largest Cricket Bat. We worked with the client and Guinness Book of Records to create the Largest Cricket Bat measuring 51 feet wide and weighing 6.5 tonnes. More than 4 months of research and planning went into making the bat. It was constructed as per MCC guidelines using genuine willow and keeping in mind all the proportions of an actual cricket bat. Legendary cricketer Kapil Dev inaugurated the bat on the 14th of June and the Guinness adjudicator presented the certificate to the client after a stringent diligence process.
