A forgotten aspect of Indian culture - Nritya is an integral part of the Indian heritage. It is an expression of spirituality, happiness, and virtues and is traditionally performed during festivities and special occasions. The fibre sculpture of the dancers performing the ancient dance form Bharatanatyam with a glorious background full of diyas, was designed to be reminiscent of the classical spirit of Diwali. The structure of each dancer was handcrafted with precision and was embellished with over 30,000 mirror chips. Displayed at the Mumbai International airport, the installations captivated the attention of millions of passers-by at the airport, including several tourists.
