Symphony of Lights is a grand celebration of the festivities of the Diwali season. This installation expresses joy, cultivates relationships, celebrates the good in life, and ushers lots of colour and vibrancy through a mesmerising display of fireworks and illuminations. Inspired by the structure and the blooming form of dandelions, we created this euphoric structure to communicate the message of festivities. In many cultures, dandelions are symbolic of good luck and success - fitting for a celebration of welcoming the new year. The blooming form of the dandelions mimics the bursts of fireworks and the structure of the plant creates a great foundation for the installation. It adds depth and height to the piece of work - the expanse is spread across 36’ 72’ length and uses a play of reflective materials, lights, and acrylics to create a dazzling, interactive display of fireworks and capture the enthusiasm and fervour of the spirit of Diwali.
